Joshua Gregory Reynolds, age 30, of Madeline Island, passed away, Thursday, February 21, 2013. He was born September 22, 1982 in Springfield, IL, the son of Janet Voss.

Josh went to Carbondale High School in Carbondale, IL. He worked on Madeline Island at the Beach Club as a bartender. He was also part of the volunteer fire department on Madeline Island. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was an avid reader.

Josh is survived by his mother, Janet (Steve Christen) Voss of Carbondale, IL; son, Johnathan David Reynolds of AZ; brother, Richard (Meredith McDaniel) Walker of Carbondale, IL; aunt and uncle, Mary and Jeff Carruthers; cousins, Michael and Elizabeth; several other aunts, uncles and cousins; and his devoted dog, Noodles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Phyllis Voss

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the St. John’s United Church of Christ on Madeline Island, LaPointe with Pastor Marina Lachecki officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.
