LouAnne McCutcheon

LouAnne McCutcheon, age 49, of Odanah, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital, in Duluth, MN. She was born January 20, 1964, in Ashland, the daughter of Arnold and Pearl (Smart) Bigboy Sr.

In 1984, she graduated from Ashland High School. LouAnne graduated from WITC, in Ashland and from LCO Community College, in Hayward. She worked as a medical assistant for the Chequamegon Clinic, in Ashland and also worked for the Bad River Clinic. LouAnne served on the Bad River Housing Board. On August 15, 2003, she married Hugo “Rusty” McCutcheon, in Ashland. She enjoyed her dogs and was very creative in making arts and crafts. She loved her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Hugo “Rusty” McCutcheon, Odanah; mother, Pearl Bigboy, Odanah; a step-son, Robert McCutcheon, Ashland; three sisters, Carol (Kenneth Sr.) Wilmer, Bonnie Greene and Tracy (James) Bigboy, all of Odanah; three brothers, Arnold Bigboy Jr., Odanah, Francis (Leslie) Bigboy Sr, New Holstein and Patrick (Roxanne)Bigboy Sr., Odanah; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Bigboy Sr. in 2007 and a niece, Courtney Greene on December 25, 2010.

A mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Odanah, with Father Paul Pare officiating.

Interment will take place in Odanah Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with a 7:45 PM prayer service, on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Frost Home for Funerals, in Ashland. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Odanah. Arrangements are by Frost Home for Funerals, in Ashland.
